Gary Green Jasper

Gary Green Jasper also known as Larsonite or McDermitt Green Jasper, is a petrified bogwood or swamp bog material that was fossilized somewhere between 11 and 14 million years ago. The material is generally very hard but it is often riddled with fractures, some softer spots and vugs (small voids in the material) which can make working it a real frustration at times. Colours often include greens and blues, we do also have some that has greys and some with pink tones (pictures to follow soon once cut).
