A really nice petrified (fossilized) wood from Tuscarora Nevada, US. Has light cream and tan colours along with red/orange inclusions and a darker brown rind. I have had some really nice and strange patterns (like lightening strike in a photograph) that are completely unique to that one little part of the slab. Sometimes contains small vugs (holes) as is common with most petrified woods so carefully planning and grinding is needed.

Hardness- 6.5-7 Mohs scales
