At Stonewolf Adornments, we take the safety and quality of our bespoke handmade body jewellery very seriously. We follow the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) to ensure that all our items meet the highest possible standards for consumer protection.

Materials & Compliance

  • Premium-Grade Metals: We carefully select materials such as sterling silver, stainless steel, titanium, or other hypoallergenic alloys and materials to minimize the risk of irritation and allergies.

  • Nickel Restrictions: In line with EU rules, our jewelry meets or exceeds nickel release limits under REACH regulations. This helps protect wearers with nickel sensitivities.

  • Non-Toxic Components: We source dyes, adhesives, and materials from reputable suppliers, ensuring they are free from harmful substances.

Design & Manufacturing Process

  • Handmade with Care: Each piece is crafted by hand to ensure a smooth finish and to eliminate sharp edges or points that could cause accidental injury.

  • Initial Safety Review: We perform a risk assessment on each new design to identify potential hazards—such as breakage, sharp edges, or allergy risks—and address them proactively.

Usage & Care Instructions

  • Suitable for Healed Piercings: Our body jewelry is intended for fully healed piercings. If you have a fresh or unhealed piercing, please wait untile the piercing has fully healed before using new jewelry, if in doubt please seek guideance from a piercer.

  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Gently clean your jewelry with sterlie saline or water, then dry thoroughly. Do not use any chemicals. Proper care extends the life of your piece and helps maintain hygiene.

  • Allergies: While we aim to use hypoallergenic materials, individual sensitivities can vary. If you experience any discomfort or reaction, remove the jewelry immediately, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Recalls & Product Notifications

If a product is ever found to pose a safety risk, we will:

  1. Notify Customers Promptly: We’ll send out information via email (where possible) and social media, and post clear notices on our website.

  2. Coordinate with Authorities: In compliance with the GPSR, we work with EU market surveillance authorities to resolve any product issues quickly.

  3. Offer Return or Replacement: We will provide options to return or replace affected products at no additional cost.
