Silver Sheen obsidian is a type of sheen obsidian. These colour sheen types of obsidian are formed by tiny bubbles being trapped inside the glass, the colour is created by the different minerals present as it cools. Similar to the rainbow obsidian but is only a single colour. It too has to be cut at an exact angle to see the colour flash, but it is a little more forgiving than rainbow obsidian.

Hardness- 5-6 Mohs scales
