This material has one of the nicest purples and patterns in the gemstone world, it is also incredibly rare and very hard to find large pieces to use for body jewellery, leading to a high cost. It can also fracture easily making it a very frustrating and nerve racking material to work, due to this I would recommend plugs only, but I have managed to successfully make a few labrets, generally larger is better for them.
